C.S.C.

We went to see about our sweet Catherine Stone today. I've come to really like my doctor and am glad that we found her so quickly after our move. Catherine was bouncing all over the place and her heartbeat sounded fantastic. No dilation yet but Dr. G could feel her head already...which is why I've been occasionally feeling like I'm holding a bowling ball between my legs! We talked about the actual birth (which was kind of scary!) With a VBAC you come in to the hospital as soon as your contractions become regular instead of waiting for them to be five minutes apart due to the (low) possibility of uterine rupture. Also, Dr. G recommended that I get an epidural so if I have to have an emergency c-section I'll already have a local one in place and it will be less likely that I'll have to be put to sleep. I had been throwing around the idea of a natural birth but I will do whatever is the safest for Catherine and I. When we came home I nested a bit more and put most of the big items together so they are all set. Now we're just waiting, waiting, waiting. I am ready to meet this pumpkin!

Here are Catherine and I this week...
